Join us for a morning of innovative discussion and collaboration at our first ever Responsible Business Salon, hosted at the Centre for Sustainable Business (CSB), King’s Business School.
Launching in September 2024, our first salon will be led by guest expert Laura Spence, Professor of Business Ethics and Sustainability at King's College London. A Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences, Professor Spence is an expert on the social and ethical aspects of business in relation to global challenges such as social injustice, climate change and inequalities.
Laura will be giving a talk: 'Embracing the ethics of ambiguity: Responsibilization for climate change', based on a paper co-authored with Professor Eero Vaara from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
About the Salon Series
Starting in September 2024, our monthly Responsible Business Salon series provides an informal space for colleagues and postgraduate students to gather and exchange new ideas around a central topic within sustainable business.
We’re inviting experts from both our internal and external networks to lead each salon, sharing their latest research to catalyse discussion and spark creative thinking around sustainable business.
Who's this event for?
The series invites staff from all faculties, researchers and PhD students who are passionate about sustainability and keen to be part of a leading thinktank of sustainability solutions.
For any event queries, contact: sustainablebusiness@kcl.ac.uk
Please note, if we have more interest than available seats, we will try to tailor the guest list to the most relevant research topics and accommodate attendees on alternative salons.
