Discover the history, heritage and volunteer opportunities at St Mary le Strand with King’s Volunteering on this exclusive guided visit.
About this event
Built between 1714–21, St Mary le Strand is a Grade 1 listed building, where people come together, reflect and enjoy a sense of shared cultural heritage. The church is currently undergoing a large-scale development project, The Jewel in the Strand, to conserve, restore and open up this wonderful building.
Volunteers are crucial to the running of the church and the Jewel in the Strand project—whether it’s stewarding and sharing the fascinating history of St Mary le Strand with visitors or providing hands-on support for events that the church hosts.
