Biography

Matthew joins King’s College London as Volunteering Engagement Officer, a wealth of experience in communications and events across higher education, government, and the third sector.

Most recently, he served as Senior Communications & Events Officer in the School of Security Studies at King’s, overseeing flagship events and communications for the War Studies Department at the Strand Campus and the Defence Studies Department in Shrivenham.

Before relocating to the UK, Matthew held senior roles in communications and public engagement in Jamaica’s education and media sectors, supporting national campaigns and youth development programmes. He has also contributed to community and faith-based projects and is passionate about building inclusive communities.
