Online

29JanAn Introduction to King’s Volunteering - Session 2

Discover how using your Service Time through King’s Volunteering can support your wellbeing while making a positive impact.

About this event

King’s Volunteering supports staff and students to connect with meaningful opportunities and community partners that are creating positive change locally, nationally, and internationally. For staff, volunteering can offer a valuable opportunity to pause, step outside day-to-day pressures, and contribute to causes that matter.

Taking time to give back has been shown to reduce stress, improve wellbeing, and foster a sense of purpose and connection. Through King’s Volunteering, staff can use their allocated Service Time to engage in a wide range of volunteering opportunities that align with their interests, values, and availability.

This session introduces King’s Volunteering from a staff perspective, outlining how Service Time works in practice and how you can get involved with our community partners across areas such as education, environment, health and wellbeing, and social inclusion.
