Support the King's Sustainability and King's Sport teams to plant over 200 trees at the Honour Oak Park (HOP) Sports Ground!

The planting of these 200 trees will help advance the flora and fauna biodiversity at the HOP sports ground, and help achieve key targets within the King's Biodiversity Action Plan. The 200 trees will be comprised of Hawthorn, Blackthorn, Hornbeam, Cherry Plum and Hazel.

Please make sure to wear sensible clothing i.e. sturdy, closed toe shoes, wear lots of warm layers and bring a waterproof. Please also bring gloves if you wish to wear these during the tree planting - as we are unable to provide any. The Sustainability Team will provide all of the gardening equipment, such as shovels and watering cans.

Meet at the reception of the HOP Sports Ground, where you will be collected at 12pm. The Sustainability team will be preparing the ground from 11am, in advance of the planting starting at 12pm. If you wish to join earlier to support the ground preparations you are more than welcome to, email sustainability@kcl.ac.uk to let us know.
