The London Centre for Nanotechnology (LCN) is excited to announce UK Nanoday, a day-long event celebrating nanoscale science and technology. The event will take place on September 8th, 2023 and will be hosted annually on or around September 10th, 10/9 which represents the nanoscale (10^-9).

Get ready to groove with the molecules because the first-ever UK NanoDay is here! Hosted by the London Centre for Nanotechnology on Friday, 8th September, this event is set to be a banger! You'll be riding sound and light waves, not at the beach, but at the nanoscale, bringing science and music together in a wonderful symphony!

Taking inspiration from the proms being held next door at the Royal Albert Hall, we are taking the party from grand scale to the super, super small. This extravaganza celebrates the minuscule marvels of nanoscience and their mega-impact on our world.

Get ready to be blown away by our dazzling researchers. They're more than just scientists—they're maestros of the nanoworld, crafting a symphony of atoms and molecules, creating innovative solutions that will shape the future of our world. Join us for talks from scientists who are also musicians, hands-on exhibits and great tunes!

Our shindig starts at 18.00 and doesn't stop until late.

Bring your curiosity, love for science, dancing shoes and your jazz hands, and join us in this nano jamboree!
