About the role:

King's Food is looking to recruit a Catering Supervisor to join our team at King's College London's Strand campus.

As a Catering Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of high-quality catering and hospitality services across our restaurants, coffee shops and hospitality events. You will be involved in all aspects of catering operations, including food preparation, food service, till operation, barista coffee making and the coordination and supervision of hospitality events and services.

You will also coordinate hospitality event setups and service delivery, manage stock and deliveries, order food and retail supplies from approved suppliers, and oversee cash handling, banking and financial recording procedures.

Working closely with the management team, you will help identify staff training needs, maintain high standards of customer service and ensure that catering and hospitality services are delivered efficiently, within budget and to the required standards.

You will ensure compliance with all relevant food safety, health and hygiene legislation, including HACCP, COSHH and allergen management procedures. This includes maintaining safe food handling and storage practices, preventing allergen cross-contact and ensuring accurate allergen information is provided to customers. You will also monitor the cleanliness, safety and condition of catering facilities and equipment, reporting any issues to management.

The role requires flexibility to support catering and hospitality operations across different locations as required.

A valid driving licence is desirable for this position.

This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.  You will be working 5 days out of 7, including some evenings and weekends.
