Eid Mubarak, a blessed Eid to all who celebrate.

This Ramadan has been a hard one for many people in the UK and around the world. As they miss the usual opportunities to pray and break fast together.

We're thankful that in this country there's hope of renewing relationships in person soon. And we pray for a wider international distribution of the COVID vaccine. So that this may soon be true for all people across the world.

Wherever you are in the world and however you are celebrating, we wish you a safe and joyous Eid al-Fitr.

Wherever you are in the world and however you are celebrating, we wish you a safe and joyous Eid al-Fitr.

The Revd Dr Ellen Clark-King

Many in our community will be celebrating the feast of Eid al-Fitr on the evening of 12/13 May – though dates may vary according to the sighting of the moon – to mark the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

With the UK government roadmap progressing, restrictions easing and some outdoor congregations allowed to meet in public spaces here in the UK, wherever you are in the world and however you plan to celebrate, we wish Eid Mubarak to all our students, staff and colleagues celebrating this 'breaking of the fast'.
