Richard Humphries spoke yesterday at the Health and Social Care Workforce Research Forum about 'Ending the Social Care Crisis: a new road to reform'. Richard outlined the historic reasons why social care services and funding are so fragmented and suggested potential avenues for improvement. The presentation was followed by a discussion which was very thoughtful. Twenty-three people attended. Richard's recently published book on the topic is available here.
