Engineering PhD named in 30 female leaders to look out for in 2023
The NYC Journal featured Laila Faridoon who is also the founder and CEO of a consultancy company.
Laila Faridoon, a PhD researcher in the Department of Engineering, King’s College London, has been named one of 30 female leaders around the world to look out for in 2023 by NYC Journal.
A researcher in big data, emerging technologies and digital transformation, Faridoon has more than 19 years of experience in the field of digital and business transformation. She is a coach, public speaker and CEO of Looking Forward Consultancy, which specialises in personal and business transformation.
The NYC Journal’s list includes the most inspiring and innovative women to look out for in 2023, from entrepreneurs to leaders in the corporate sector who have inspired and empowered other women to aim high.

Laila Faridoon received a BSc in Computer Science with first class honours from Ajman University, and then graduated with distinction from the University of Sharjah with an MSc in Computer science. Laila's current research interests are in digital transformation and project management. She has published a number of papers in these areas and presented at many global conferences. She has more than 19 years of experience in the field of digital and business transformation within the UAE government, and is also an author and a public speaker. Laila has extensive experience in boards management, and has served in many regional and international boards.
