Joanne Coombes (Peer Researcher in the Homelessness Research Programme at HSCWRU) recently attended a garden party at Buckingham Palace where she met the King and Queen who were celebrating achievements in education and skills. Joanne attended with Michelle Cornes (Visiting Professor at HSCWRU and Professor of Health and Social Policy Inequalities at the University of Salford). Suzey Joseph a Homelessness and Inclusion Health Nurse (who collaborated with HSCWRU on the out-of-hospital care model evaluation) also attended a palace garden party with her daughter. This was to celebrate the award of a British Empire Medal.
