At today’s webinar at King's launching a Multiple Exclusion Homelessness: Practitioner Safeguarding Toolkit, over 280 participants joined Bruno Ornelas and Andy Meakin for an introduction to using the Toolkit, which was developed as a collaboration by practitioners, researchers, safeguarding and legal experts, and people with lived experience.

The webinar was an opportunity to discuss how to overcome the attitudes, policies and structures that can be barriers to safeguarding and supporting this highly marginalised population.

Participant feedback included: ‘Looks brilliant’; ‘Excited to use it’; ‘Will certainly change our practice’; ‘We could take this to our Safeguarding Adults Board to implement’; ‘Plan on meeting with my team to see how we can implement this’; ‘Will be signposting people to it and linking to it in the training I provide’; ‘I am going to share the Toolkit widely with colleagues and managers’; and, ‘The toolkit will be a life saver.’
