The Entrepreneurship Institute is pleased to announce a new programme of activities for early-stage entrepreneurs, with a particular focus on female founders.

Future Founders is a bootcamp series of 5 workshops focused on building confidence, leadership and creative thinking – attributes essential for an entrepreneurial mindset. Over 5 weeks, participants will become part a network of likeminded people and learn how to: validate ideas effectively; build a cofounder team; master application and interviews for startup accelerators; and uncover their potential as entrepreneurs and leaders.

Facilitated by Entrepreneurship Institute staff and external facilitators, the programme will feature guest speakers, team workshops and 1-2-1 support. Future Founders is open to all students, staff and alumni across all King’s faculties and runs from April – May 2018. The launch event will be held on 4 April in Bush House.

At the Entrepreneurship Institute our aim is to make entrepreneurship open to everyone. We’ve identified a gap in our support about how to prepare brilliant people with great ideas to be confident taking the next step with their idea. We hope that this programme will mean participants come away with the skills, networks and confidence to make their ideas a reality, whether on our own accelerator or beyond.” Ed Halliday, Accelerator Manager

International Women’s Day is a great opportunity to highlight the brilliant work King’s women are doing to create positive change in their fields, and to demonstrate our commitment to helping more women achieve their potential." Jeremy Shorter, Learning Programme Manager.
