Prof Manthorpe keynote speaker at Jewish Care
The charity was celebrating World Social Work Day 2022
Unit Director, Jill Manthorpe, was today invited to contribute to Jewish Care's annual celebration of World Social Work Day as keynote speaker. The webinar event was attended by 138 practitioners, managers and volunteers from Jewish Care's services that include care homes, day services and home care activities. Jill outlined the Unit's Covid research programme and the legacy of the past two years as it seems to be affecting 'communication, compassion and community' – this year's theme.
