The Fellowship honours her work as a member of the Chartered ABS Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee, where she has led sector-wide initiatives to promote inclusive practices in business schools. Her efforts have supported the development of women leaders and amplified the voices of Black and minoritised staff in higher education.
Professor Everett also co-edited the newly launched textbook Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Business and Management with Dr Ian Hill, Lecturer in Human Resource Management and Employment Relations (Education). The book is expected to become a key resource for educators and students alike.
Professor Everett is spearheading the development of I-LEAD, a new research centre at King’s Business School dedicated to transforming business education. Emphasising co-creation with students and business, I-LEAD develops and tests new ways of learning with a strong emphasis on inclusion, sustainability and responsiveness to organisations' rapidly changing skills needs.
The Chartered ABS Fellowship is awarded annually to individuals who have made a significant and sustained contribution to the association’s mission and values.
