Unit Director Jill Manthorpe and Senior Research Fellow Jo Moriarty took part in an online meeting with members of the Dutch Advisory Committee on Migration Affairs (ACVZ). The ACVZ is the equivalent of the Migration Advisory Committee in the UK and the purpose of the meeting was to discuss migrant workers working in long term care in the UK and what lessons this might have for policy in the Netherlands. Discussion at the meeting drew on a series of studies undertaken by the Unit and those in progress. Unit Director Jill Manthorpe recently served as a member of an expert advisory group working with the Migration Advisory Committee on its report about adult social care and immigration.
