Researchers at the NIHR Policy Research Unit in Health and Social Care Workforce have contributed to a new publication from the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services and the Local Government Association. The report provides guidance on the role of adult social care in supporting those who are homelessness.

Jess Harris and Michelle Cornes contributed at a roundtable, held on 10 March 2022, which fed into the report. Their Communities of Practice report from the ongoing NIHR School for Social Care Research study on homelessness, safeguarding and self-neglect is cited as a resource on page 15 of the new guidance.
