Dr Juliana Onwumere

Biography

Dr Juliana Onwumere is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Reader in Clinical Psychology at King’s College London and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

Research interests

• Health inequalities with a particular interest in racial and ethnic minority groups;
• Improving our understanding of the impact of mental health problems on families;
• Development, provision, and equity of access to evidence-based healthcare.

Expertise and public engagement 

Juliana is the current chair of the South London Building Race Equity and Diversity (BREaD) in Research Network that includes several key stakeholders and partners including NIHR Maudsley BRC, our main local health partners, and community organisations.
