
Dr Ada Lee
Lecturer in Education (Curriculum Design)
Biography
Ada collaborates with colleagues across King’s on programme design and curriculum enhancement. She serves as one of the Faculty liaison contacts for Life Sciences & Medicine. A Fellow of Advance HE, she brings over a decade of experience in higher education across the UK and Hong Kong.
Before joining King’s in 2026, Ada was a Lecturer in Learning and Teaching (HE) and the Institutional Lead for Assessment and Feedback at the University of Greenwich. In this role, she played a central part in advancing major institutional initiatives, including the implementation of the New Curriculum Framework and the Assessment & Feedback Policy. She also developed a suite of impactful resources and delivered webinars and workshops on topics such as Generative AI and assessment redesign.
Ada’s previous roles at the University of Hong Kong include serving as a Teaching Consultant for the Medical Ethics & Humanities Unit (MEHU) in the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, and Lecturer & Programme Leader for the Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.
Her scholarly background in cultural‑historical psychology informs her professional interests in academic development and curriculum innovation. She is currently involved in two cross‑institutional initiatives, including a project on Generative AI in assessment design and another examining the holistic impact of authentic assessment. Committed to community engagement, she also contributed to a pilot study for the Islington Chinese Association (ICA) exploring youth migration experiences.
