Biography

Aida is a Qualitative Research Assistant in the Evidence Development and Incubation Team (EDIT) at The Policy Institute.

Aida specialises in conducting research with vulnerable groups. She has worked on research projects about the experiences of people experiencing homelessness, women living with substance use addiction, and adults living with chronic conditions or disabilities. Since joining King’s, Aida has worked on evaluations for funders including the Department for Work and Pensions, the Centre for Ageing Better, UK Research and Innovation, the Education Endowment Foundation.  

Currently, Aida is working on a range of evaluations, including evaluating a harm reduction approach used in homelessness services in Scotland, and an intervention to improve services for people presenting as homeless to local authorities where they do not have a local connection.

Aida holds an MSc in in Health Psychology from King’s College London and a BSc (Honours) in Psychology from the University of the West of England, Bristol.
