Biography

Before joining King's, Alex taught science in two inner London secondary schools, during this time she was also a form tutor and year group coordinator. Since joining King's, Alex has completed her PhD; "Urban science teachers, exploring how their views and experiences can influence decisions to remain in post or not” (2017). Alex contributes to a number of teaching programmes, PGCE, MA and PhD supervision. In addition to her research on teacher wellbeing, her interests include teacher experiences, department dynamics and teacher retention.
