Biography
Andy is a Research Assistant and part time PhD student. Prior to joining King's, he worked for two years as a Research Assistant with the Medical Research Council Unit The Gambia, within the Nutrition Theme.
His thesis work is focused on characterising associations between body composition and linear growth in the first 1000 days, from conception to 2 years postpartum, and looking at their longer term associations with chronic disease risk.
He has a BSc in Biomedical Science and completed an MSc in 'Nutrition for Global Health' at The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
