Biography
Anette is based in King’s Academy as the Implementation Lead for TASK (Transforming Assessment for Students at King’s), a university-wide project aimed at enhancing the assessment and feedback experience for both students and staff. She is also Chair of the University’s Assessment and Regulatory Oversight Committee (AROSC), participating in various cross-faculty working groups on diverse topics. In addition, she chairs hearings for the Student Appeals and Misconduct Committee (SCA). Anette is a trustee director of the Quality Standards Board at the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL). Her professional interests include academic integrity, innovative assessment methods, and assessment pedagogy in higher education.
Anette joined King’s College London in 2005 as a Lecturer for German. She later became the Team Leader for French and German, and subsequently, the Deputy Director of the Language Centre. Before that, Anette held various academic positions at British universities, including Goldsmiths, University of London, Birkbeck UoL, Middlesex University, and Regent’s University. She has also served as an external examiner for German at Bristol University, Oxford University, the University of Nottingham (UK, China, and Malaysia), Leeds University, and more recently, Regent’s University for German and Linguistics.
