
Biography
Anjali Khambhayta is a Research Assistant in the Department of Biostatistics & Health Informatics at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience. She first joined King’s College London as an undergraduate student, completing a BSc (Hons) in Neuroscience.
She conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis, examining the impact of problematic smartphone and problematic social media use in children and young people with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She presented her work at the RCPsych Faculty of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Annual Conference in September 2025.
Her current work, on a smartphone pouch evaluation study, explores how phone-related interventions can support behaviour change and promote mental wellbeing. She continues to develop research in adolescent mental health, digital technologies and neurodivergent populations.
