Biography
Anna Camilleri joined the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London in 2025. She is a research assistant in the GenMind: transgenerational intervention for mental health research group where she primarily contributes to the Nurturing and Empowering future parents through Support and Treatment (NEST) study.
Anna is a graduate in Law / Psychological Science (First Class Honours) from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney. She completed her honours thesis on institutional rights violations, moral injury and mental health in refugees.

GenMind: transgenerational intervention for mental health
We seek to optimise mental health from the earliest stages of life by better understanding its developmental origins and designing interventions that support the development of healthy and resilient families and communities.

Nurturing and Empowering future parents through Support and Treatment (NEST)
This research investigates how to support individuals of reproductive age in contact with mental health services improve planning and fitness for pregnancy.
