Biography

Anna Carnegie joined the Social, Genetic & Developmental Psychiatry Centre in November 2023 as the Study Coordinator for the Eating Disorders Clinical Research Network which aims to standardise data collection and recording in participating child and adult eating disorder services across the UK.

Anna holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Science (Social Work) and a Masters degree in Public Policy, both from University College Dublin.

Anna joined King's with over 10 years experience in research coordination, management and stakeholder involvement. Prior to joining King's, Anna was employed as a Community and Project Manager at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine where she oversaw a range of complex projects in the departments of Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Dynamics and Health Services Research and Policy.

She has a particular interest in coproduction and ensuring that the voices of experts by experience are amplified throughout the research process.
