Biography

Anna is a PhD candidate at King's College London interested in human-nature relations, contested development, knowledge production and society, culture and environment.

Research

Thesis title: Constructions of Nature, Ecological Emotions and African Wild Dogs

The thesis takes an ex situ conservation perspective, travelling through sites of abstraction from colonial history, to museums, documentaries, zoos and conservation tourism. Methods range from archival research, to interviews and autoethnography.
