Biography
Dr Anton Nedelin is a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in the Theoretical Physics Group in the Department of Mathematics, King’s College London.
Anton got his PhD at Uppsala University (Sweden) under the supervision of Professor Joseph Minahan in March 2015. After that, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Milano-Bicocca (2015-2018), the Israeli Institute of Technology (2018-2021) and the University of Geneva (2021-2023). In 2023, he joined the Theoretical Physics group at King's College London.
Research interests
- Supersymmetric Gauge Theories
- Integrable Systems
- Holography
- Black Holes
Anton's research interests lie in the intersection of physics and mathematics. In particular, he is interested in studying various aspects of supersymmetric gauge theories and mathematical structures which often happen to emerge in these theories. At the moment his research is focused on the mathematical structures of superconformal indices of 4D theories as well as elliptic integrable models arising in supersymmetric gauge theories upon defects insertions.
