Biography
I'm a political theorist working on the history of modern democracy and liberalism. My research interests include past and present debates about popular sovereignty, public opinion, as well as the role of tradition-building in the history of political thought.
I'm completing my first book manuscript, The People's Two Powers: Public Opinion and Popular Sovereignty from Rousseau to Liberal Democracy. I have also started doing research for a second book project, Propaganda and Democracy: A History.
I joined King's College London as a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow in September 2022. Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at Brown University and Yale University.
