Biography

Ashwin joined the Department of Political Economy in September 2025. His research will focus on identifying and understanding factors affecting the female labour force participation rate in India and the impact of particular programs.

Ashwin holds a BA in Mathematics from Johns Hopkins University, an MSE in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from the Wharton School, and an MSC in Economics from UCL (2024). Ashwin previously worked at Goldman Sachs.
