Ayesha graduated with a BSc in Psychology in 2012 and an MPhil in Clinical Psychology in2014 from the University of Karachi, Pakistan.

She has previously worked in the NHS as aresearch assistant supporting Dementia and Mental Health research and was a research therapist for the New Interventions for independence in Dementia Study (NIDUS) atUniversity College London.

She joined Cicely Saunders Institute in January 2024 as a research assistant on theEMBED-Care programme.
