Biography

Dr Beibei (Xinyi) Du-Harpur is a NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer at St John's Institute of Dermatology. She completed undergraduate medical training at the University of Cambridge, and was awarded a PhD in Molecular Medicine by King's College London in partnership with the Francis Crick Institute. Her main research interests are the pathophysiology and treatment of pilosebaceous diseases, in particular acne and hidradenitis suppurativa. She is interested in the interplay of inflammation and tissues in diseased states, and how this can be leveraged to understand inflammaging.
