Biography

Bhakti Nagpurkar is a Research Assistant at the Social, Genetic & Developmental Psychiatry (SGDP) Centre at King’s College London. Her work within King's Genomics and the Translational Neuropsychiatric Genomics group focuses on the intersection of bioinformatics, statistical genomics, and machine learning, contributing to neuropsychiatric research through the analysis of genomic data.

She previously worked on projects involving deep learning models for multivariate time-series imputation and cohort selection. Her research spans pipeline development, the study of structural variants in cryptic exons related to ALS, and the application of AI methods in health informatics and electrical systems.

She holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Statistical Modelling and Health Informatics from King’s College London and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical Engineering from the College of Engineering Pune (COEP).
