Biography
Boris Tocco completed his BSc in Medical Sciences with Pharmacology in 2012 at University College London and went on to complete his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2015 at UCL. He subsequently continued his medical training and has sub-specialised in Clinical Oncology. He is currently undertaking his PhD investigating gut microbiome predictors of radiation enteropathy after radiotherapy for high risk prostate cancer. |

Researchers in the Centre for Host Microbiome Interactions study our relationship with these bacteria and fungi in health or in oral and systemic diseases such as periodontitis, candidiasis, oral cancer and Alzheimer’s disease.
