The Quality Assurance Manager ensures that the CPTU is compliant with sponsor requirements as well as national and international standards for the conduct of clinical research. Responsibilities for different aspects of clinical research at CPTU include:

• Maintaining a robust QMS

• Monitoring compliance with UK regulations

• Overseeing and implementing the unit's audit plan

• Supporting investigators with their research and facilitating change management in current working practices
