Dave Dennis

Biography

Dave has been a science teacher for over 30 years, teaching within inner and outer London. He made the move to teaching on Initial Teacher Education programmes in 2012. Dave is also the Secretary for the London Region of the Association for Science Education.

Dave's research explores teacher knowledge and teacher learning. Dave completed his MA at King's in 2017. His dissertation focused on the development of pedagogical content knowledge in pre-service teachers.

Dave's PhD research looks at how early career teachers engage with teacher knowledge and how they navigate their way through the early years of their career. Dave's supervisors are Dr Heather King and Professor Chris Harrison.
