Biography

Dianna joined the Department of Forensic and Neurodevelopmental Science at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience as a postdoctoral research associate on the Aims-2-Trials project in January 2024, after earning her PhD in Psychology from the University of Cambridge.

Dianna's main focus in research is on the longitudinal neurocognitive development, with the aim of unravelling typical and atypical developmental trajectories. She has contributed to several longitudinal projects, including PIPKIN, BRIGHT, and BASIS, where she investigated social brain development in newborns and infants at typical and elevated risk for developing ASD and/or ADHD. She has extensive experience in collection and analyses of data from various neuroimaging methods (fNIRS, HD-DOT, EEG) and behavioural measures (eye-tracking, behavioural coding, and assessments).

Through her work, Dianna leverages advanced neurotechnologies to gain deeper insights into the intricate processes underlying early development and neurodevelopmental disorders.
