Biography
Eileen Daly is Reader in Neurodevelopmental Sciences at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King's College London.
Eileen completed her Bachelor degree in Chemistry at Northern Kentucky University and then worked at the Laboratory of Neuroscience at the US National Institutes of Health. She started working at the then Institute of Psychiatry in 1997 and was awarded a PhD in 2014.
Dr Daly's main research interests are in the field of neurodevelopmental disorders. Currently, she leads a pharmaco-challenge of the serotonin system in Autism Spectrum Disorder. This involve neuroimaging using functional MRI.
She recently co-edited Serotonin System: History, Neuropharmacology and Pathology with Dr Mark Tricklebank
