Biography

Research Assistant specialising in women's mental health, with a focus on perinatal mental health. I hold a BSc in Biomedical Science and an MSc in Psychology (Conversion) from the University of Liverpool. Prior to transitioning into academia, I worked as a global manager in the corporate sector, where I led data analysis, managed large-scale international projects, and built high-performing teams. Since November 2023, I have been developing my research skills at King's College London, contributing to perinatal mental health studies.

My responsibilities include qualitative data analysis, trial management—overseeing screening, recruitment, compliance, and data collection—and coordinating documentation for policy briefs, evidence syntheses, and academic articles. I have also contributed to publications, editing, and reviewing. Additionally, I am a qualified mindfulness practitioner, bringing an integrated approach to supporting mental health. I am committed to improving my skills to build on my research portfolio and deepen my understanding of effective research methodologies. My unique blend of corporate and research experience enables me to bring valuable insights into women's mental health and support women through critical life stages.
