Biography
Emma Bailey is a Clinical Research Practitioner in the Research Department of Cardiovascular Imaging, within the Faculty of Life Sciences and Medicine. She is currently working on the FRAIYA study, a multi-site clinical study assessing AI-enabled support tools during comprehensive routine mid-pregnancy (anomaly) scans, and is based at the Liverpool Women’s Hospital Site. Emma holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, with an integrated year in industry. During this year, she worked as a Research and Implementation Assistant at Born in Bradford. She also holds an MSc in Health Psychology, and was awarded the Society for Reproductive and Infant Psychology’s Annual Master’s Thesis Prize for her work surrounding first-time mothers’ experiences of traumatic birth.
