Biography

Dr Esteban Gomez Cifuentes is a Research associate in Machine Learning for Genomics in the Department of Biostatistics & Health Informatics at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience.

He completed his PhD in Biochemical Pharmacology focused on Bioinformatics at Queen Mary University of London, where he applied computational methodologies such as machine learning, network analysis, protein structure and next-generation sequencing analysis to understand the dysregulation of inflammation resolution and the identification of biomarkers associated with disease.

He is looking forward to improving his knowledge of machine-learning approaches. View his publications on ORCID.
