Biography

Fernanda joined Professor Hayday’s lab in February 2012 following the completion of her PhD at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She investigated the physiological role of the multidrug resistance protein (MDR1/Pgp) in the immune system. Her current work focouses on studing the tumour infiltrating lymphocytes in human breast cancers from a tissue resident lymphocyte perspective.
