Biography

I am a statistician interested in uncertainty quantification in climate systems. Having studied for a BSc in Mathematics at the University of Bristol and an MSc in Statistics at the University of Sheffield, I recently completed a PhD in statistics at the University of Sheffield, where my thesis was titled 'Ice Cores and Emulation: Learning More About Past Ice Sheet Shapes'.

Research

Gaussian process emulators Uncertainty Quantification Ice sheets Land ice contributions to sea level rise.

My post-doc is part of PROTECT, a Horizon 2020 funded project focussed on projections of land ice contributions to sea level rise up to 2500. I am working on building emulators of climate and ice sheet models in order to build pdfs of sea level contributions from the worlds ice sheets and glaciers.
