Biography
I am a neurologist and clinical academic with a focus on headache and associated sensory disorders. My work aims to understand how changes in brain structure and function contribute to the genesis of these conditions, particularly migraine with aura and visual snow syndrome. I use neuroimaging, neurophysiology and translational pharmacology to study these conditions, with the goal of improving diagnosis and treatment. I am particularly interested in bridging neuroscience and patient care, ensuring that new discoveries translate into tangible benefits for people living with these often misunderstood diseases.
