Guangyu Li is a final year PhD. Candidate in Accounting at King’s College London and is currently on the 2023-2024 academic job market. Before joining King's College London, Guangyu worked as a research assistant in Digital Economy at Peking University.

In 2022-2023 academic year, Guangyu was also selected as a visiting scholar at the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies at Harvard University to conduct China-related research in the financial discipline.

Guangyu's research employs both qualitative field investigation and quantitative analysis approaches to provide a comprehensive understanding of sell-side analysts. Specific areas of focus include the impact of social networks, gender disparities in social interactions, and the use of social media.

In addition to capital market accounting research, Guangyu has developed a keen interest in management control issues within financial firms. Particularly, Guangyu pays attention to the performance measurement of sell-side analysts and their incentive systems.

In terms of teaching, Guangyu has experience with the course "Capital Markets and Financial Institutions" from 2019 to 2022. Guangyu is also competent to teach Financial Accounting and Auditing courses.
