Biography
Dr Haiyu Mao joined King’s College London as a Lecturer in Engineering in October 2024. Her research interests lie at the intersection of Computer Architecture, Processing-In-Memory (PIM), In-Storage-Processing (ISP), Bioinformatics, Machine Learning, and Non-Volatile Memories (NVM).
Dr Mao received her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Technology from Tsinghua University, China, in 2020. From September 2020 to September 2024, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher in Computer Architecture at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. Dr Mao has authored many articles in peer-reviewed conferences and journals, including MICRO, ISCA, HPCA, ASPLOS, and IEEE Transactions on Computers (TC).
Dr Mao is IEEE and ACM member. She has served on the Technical Program Committees of MICRO, FAST, DAC, ICCD, and DATE, and as a Reviewer for journals such as IEEE TC, IEEE TCAD, IEEE Micro, ACM Computing Surveys, and IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics.
