Head of Open Research

Biography

Helen oversees and contributes to the strategic direction of services and systems supporting research data, scholarly publications, and subscriptions. She ensures the alignment of people, processes and technology to deliver on strategic and operational goals. She is a professionally qualified Librarian (MSc in Information Science) who heads a team comprising c20 staff, providing support for open access publishing, the institutional repository and REF, research data management, subscription services, interlending, and copyright, through a programme of guidance, training and advocacy.
