Visiting Senior Research Fellow
Ivan Collister is a researcher at the University of Cambridge and a former Deputy Director of the Downing Street Policy Unit. Prior to his return to Cambridge, Ivan was a partner at Hakluyt & Company and, before that, held various posts in Number 10, the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit, and the Home Office. Ivan is a member of the Public Policy Advisory Group for the Arts and Humanities Research Council and, in Cambridge, is affiliated with the Centre for Science & Policy and the Bennett Institute for Public Policy. Ivan’s research interests include labour history, electoral politics, and the history of social policy in modern Britain.
