Professor Mellerio is a Consultant Dermatologist and Honorary Professor of Paediatric Dermatology at St John's Institute of Dermatology.

She is the clinical lead for the national Adult Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) Service at Guy's and St Thomas'. She also leads Genetic Dermatology clinics for adults and children.

Professor Mellerio has experience of basic science and clinical research in EB and other genodermatoses. She has published and lectured widely in these fields as well as more generally in the area of paediatric dermatology.
