Biography
Jiaqi Wei's academic and professional background is deeply rooted in both computing and mathematics, with a particular focus on their application in the field of development biology. Having earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Master of Science in Engineering Mathematics, He applies his expertise in programming languages to develop complex models. His current research delves into the mechanical feedback mechanisms in embryonic tissue self-organization, integrating both in vitro experiments and in silico simulations. This interdisciplinary approach underscores his commitment to advancing the understanding of biological systems through rigorous mathematical and computational methods.
Research

Centre for Craniofacial & Regenerative Biology
Our research goes beyond the mouth. If we understand how the entire face and head forms, we can repair damage and regenerate cells. If we unravel the causes of diseases, we can treat patients successfully. If we solve these problems, our discoveries will improve health worldwide.

Green Lab
The Green Laboratory investigates tissue morphogenesis and the action of morphogens.
